Dr. Hearne grew up in Las Vegas, Nevada. He decided to become a dentist at the age of 12, due to the example of a close family friend and well known dentist. He began his career in the hotel industry at age 14, where he learned the importance of customer service and a high standard of excellence. When Dr. Hearne was 18, he lost his 7 year old little brother, "Little Buddy," to cystic fibrosis. The tender care given to his brother throughout his life by wonderful nurses and doctors inspired Dr. Hearne to become an excellent caregiver for his patients.
During his undergraduate education at Utah State University, Dr. Hearne met his wife, Naomi. After completing his education at USU, Dr. Hearne earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from Creighton University School of Dentistry in May 1997. He then completed a one year Advanced General Practice Residency program at the Veterans Administration Medical Center in June 1998 while he worked part time as an associate dentist in a private practice.
Dr. Hearne, a Utah general dentist, started Woodland Park Dental in August 1998, and continues to build a very successful practice today. Dr. Hearne is constantly striving to provide a painless experience for his patients with the use of parenteral, oral sedation, and other techniques and technologies which enables him to achieve the best results.
Through his unceasing commitment to learning and professional development, Dr. Hearne received his fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry, awarded to only about 6% of general dentists, in July 2005. The fellowship, in conjunction with memberships in the American Dental Association, The Academy of General Dentistry, the American Academy of Painless Dentistry, and the Weber District Dental Society, demonstrates his dedication to education and improvement for his patient's benefit.
Dr. Hearne's commitment to his community goes far beyond the dental chair. He currently serves in the Boy Scouts of America as an adult trainer in the Wood Badge courses (training for adult Cub and Boy Scout Leaders) and is currently serving as a leader for the eleven year old Boy Scouts.
He enjoys many outdoor activities including swimming, skiing, snowmobiling, and scuba diving. Above all, he loves to read and spend time with his family.
Dr. Christensen loves connecting with his patients and providing comprehensive care to achieve a healthy and beautiful smile for every patient. He is committed to providing excellent care by listening to your concerns, explaining recommended procedures, and helping make your experience comfortable. He is also dedicated to continued training and advancing dental technology in order to provide the highest level of care.
Dr. Christensen was born and raised in Farmington, Utah. While he studied at the University of Utah for his undergraduate degree, he met his wife, Nikki. He started his career in dentistry as a certified dental assistant prior to starting dental school.
Dr. Christensen earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from the University of New England, in Portland, Maine. While there, he was involved in various local and national organizations, which included being the co-founder and acting President for the Practice Management Club at the College of Dental Medicine. Upon graduation, he was recognized by the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons for his outstanding achievements, surgical ability, and performance related to treatment planning and implant prosthetics. Dr. Christensen was also recognized by the Academy of General Dentistry for exhibiting the greatest interest, knowledge, and proficiency in the field of general dentistry.
Outside the office, Dr. Christensen loves spending time with his wife and children. He recharges by spending time outdoors and specifically enjoys fishing, camping, golfing, mountain biking, and working in the yard and garden.
Michelle has been part of the Woodland Park Dental Team for over 25 years. She loves working in the dental field, especially helping fearful patients have a positive and comfortable experience. It is important to her to keep up on her education and new technology to be the best Hygienist she can be!
In Michelle's free time, you will find her somewhere in nature. Snowboarding, kayaking, or just enjoying the beauty Utah has to offer. Michelle has two sons, and two furry children.
Lydia graduated from Weber State University with high honors, where she received many recognitions and awards including the Dean’s Leadership Award for her extraordinary efforts throughout her schooling. During her time at university, she actively served and advocated for patients, particularly those in underserved communities. Lydia has a passion for providing education to her patients and forming meaningful connections.
Since graduation, Lydia has been a valuable member of the Woodland Park Dental team, where she has quickly grown to love both the team and the patients. Outside of work, Lydia is likely found outside running, paddle boarding, hiking, boating, playing or watching sports, and fishing. Most of all she enjoys spending time traveling and making memories with her husband and their dog.
Brynnlee is our dedicated Patient Coordinator from South Weber with a true passion for dentistry and helping others. She loves connecting with patients and making sure they feel comfortable and cared for.
Outside of work, Brynnlee enjoys hiking, traveling, and spending time with friends. She’s also pursuing her creative side as an aspiring jewelry designer, with a talent for design and craftsmanship. Brynnlee’s warm personality and commitment to both her work and passions make her a valued member of our team.
